Martha Boston is the founder and president of Higher Ground, an international network of trainers and consultants with the mission to inspire and facilitate higher levels of communication, cooperation, commitment, and trust in and among people and their organizations. A mediator and recovering lawyer with a U.S. Supreme Court win under her belt, she works with individuals as well as organizations ranging from small nonprofits to Fortune 100 companies.

Martha is a master trainer for Interaction Associates, an industry leader in collaborative change management, for whom she trains trainers, leaders and facilitators. She has taught at the University of Texas, the University of Houston, the Galveston Family Institute, and in numerous academic and professional development programs throughout the country. While much of her work is conducted in corporate meeting rooms, she often can be found facilitating personal and professional development experiences on sailboats throughout the world.

Martha has a B.A. in government and a J.D. from University of Texas as well as a Masters in Theology (equivalent) from Peace Theological Seminary. She is currently pursuing the Doctorate of Spiritual Science, also from Peace Theological Seminary.

A lifelong student of the workings of the human heart, mind and spirit, Martha lives in Austin, Texas and Miami, Florida when she’s not sailing.
